Third Day In Perth, Australia

Monday, 19 October 2009.

Woke early today and walked to a bus stop nearby my aunt's house. Took bus no. 850 to Murdoch and took a train to Perth Underground.

Then, took a Red CAT to Perth Mint. FYI, all the Transperth's CAT buses offers free services for you to travel around Perth city. Won't it be cool if we have such services in KL? *wink*

Next, took a Red CAT from Murray St Mall East to Murray St Mall East and took a Blue CAT from there to Museum. This is my second visit to this museum since the last time I visited Perth. There's not much changes going on here. All the exhibits are nearly the same from what I saw few years back.

Certainly not a big fan of museum but I gotta say that this museum is worthy to go. Entrance are free and there's a lot of different types of exhibits.

Lots of bird exhibits. I do act dumb sometimes. =P

They are all mummified animals, I suppose. They had stitches on their body. I guess that their organs are taken out so that they can be mummified. Correct me if I'm wrong. =P

Walked to the other part of the museum then. Science zone.

Finally, walked to a part of museum where there's a lot of insects exhibits in the drawer. Honestly, I hate insects. I don't really have the guts to open some of the drawers. Hahah.

Next, we took Blue CAT to James St. It was like a Chinatown in Perth. Had our lunch there. Then, we took Blue CAT from Northbridge to Perth Underground. Did some shoppings in the city. Walked to Forrest Place to take a Yellow CAT to Harbour Town.

There's lots of factory outlets in Harbour Town. I've got myself a pair boots. Lurvess. Not much time to look around as we got there quite late and the shops are closing. Shops in Perth usually do starts closing around 5pm.

Next, took a Yellow CAT from Harbour Town to Perth Station and to Murdoch by train. Headed back by bus no. 850 and walked back to my aunt's house for dinner.

Second Day In Perth, Australia

Sunday, 18 October 2009.

A more comfortable day. Temperature went down a bit. A great day for barbecuing. =P. Woke quite early today and drove about 45 minutes to Hillary's Boat Harbour.

Yummy.

Basic stuff needed for barbecuing such as electric grill are provided. Just bring along foods to cook. Convenience. xD

Walked from my aunt's house to a nearby park then. A lovely park. ^^

I was in quite a good mood till then my mum dropped my camera. The lens went blur and it's like killing my mood off. I tried to on off it few times but it doesn't work. Arghhhh. Then, I wipe the lens and it works. Luckily. Or I might feel sad for a whole week.

A nice place to jog and cycle.I found that there's a lot of bottlebrush in Perth.

It's getting dark and it's dinner time. xD

First Day in Perth, Australia

Saturday, 17 October 2009.

After the long flight, went to Hungry Jacks to get our breakfast and headed to my aunt's house then.

My aunt's house. We stayed here for the whole week.

Next, headed to the market to get some great bargain of foods.

5 Aussie Dollar for the whole box. Damn cheappp.

Happy with all the bargains. xD

Vege and fruits in this market are really cheap. They are all fresh too, I guess. We got ourselves some mushrooms and some vege and headed to the fish market just opposite this market. I can't stand the smell in the fish market and waited outside. =P. They bought some fishes and scallops and headed back then. Yummy.

Really tired and sleepy. Everyone had a nap then. Woke around 3pm and headed to Livingston to get some groceries. Back to my aunt's house around 5pm. Dinner then.

It was quite sunny today and I felt like in summer. Guess what? It's highest temperature today is 36.9 degree Celsius. It was somehow the hottest day in autumn in this 13 years and broke 40 something years record if I'd not mistaken. Hot hot hot. That's how my first day in Perth ended.

Bye bye Malaysia. Gotta 'enjoy' the 5 hours flight.

I can't sleep the whole night so I look out of the window and guess what? I saw a sky of glittering stars. Awh, I never see anything like this. It's like so near that you can touch them. But still, I can't sleep.

When I was about to get into slumber land and *pooff* a kid behind my seat cried. The kid cried and cried so loud that all the passengers woke up. I mean it's okay for a kid to cry in the middle of the night but can't the parents be selfless to ask the kid to lower the voice or even shut up so that everyone could get back into sleep again?

The kid's mum covered the kid's mouth so that he would lower his voice and the dad shove the mum's hand off. What kind of parents is this? The kid cried louder and louder for so long that few passengers shouted "ooi" to the kid. At last the kid shut his mouth off and get back to sleep. Guess what, the dad stand for like half an hour so that the kid could sleep comfortably on the seats. =_=" He could let the kid sleep on his lap but he choose to stand? I don't get it. I mean do you have to spoil your kids like this that you let them disturb others sleeping while in the public places and you could stand for so long so that your kids could sleep comfortably?

This makes me even harder to sleep. Arghh, what I gotta do in this 2 hours? Glanced at the stars and tried to sleep again. Tried and tried that it left 1 more hours to reach. It's morning soon. Gave up and look through the window again.

When I look through the window, I can't believe my eyes. Amazingly breathtaking. I know it doesn't look so good in the photo but believe me, it was nothing like what you've seen before. I couln't find a proper word to describe how beautiful it was. It was rainbow in color but too bad the colors does not came out in the photo. It does remind me how beautiful a nature could be. My advice to traveler, take a midnight flight. Hahah.

Birthday Celebration 2

On 12th of October, we celebrated Elvis Sin's birthday. First we decided to have dinner at Look Out Point. I mean already decided. But something happened and we have to change our plan and headed to Four Seasons at Wangsa Maju.

Awh mad, I really got frustrated at the time they said plan changed. Stuck in heavy traffic jams plus raining for an hour. Reached around 9 if i'd not mistaken.

Birthday Celebration

Fun's birthday is on 8th, but we celebrate on 9th. How we celebrate? First, like usual.... SING K!!! We book 4pm but like usual also, we late. =P. As we know we will late for sure "like usual", we book an hour after also as backup. Haha. We reached Sungei Wang around 4 something going 5 and Peng, Fun and Pearling went to McD. Me and Siew Qi went in the room first. I got this card from counter.

After a while, a green box staff came in with a "dice" thing. We need to get the surface of witch to pair with the card i get. Fun tried...fail. Siew Qi tried...fail. I try....keke. Success la of course. =P.

Witchy witchy. Lucky me. Haha.

As a reward, we get to choose a free meal. We chose this teriyaki chicken.

They mistakenly gave this also. Another luck? Haha. Eat? Don't eat? Tell the staff?

For quite long the staff did not return to take the meal, so this two naughty decided to eat it. =P. They even fill the gap of the wings by rearanging the wings. Quite obvious lesser than normal also, okay naughties? Haha. Guess what? After a while, a staff came in and looking at the plate and ask "Eaten already?" with quite a shock face. A little too late to ask this question. Haha.

Not only we got 2 free sets of meal, take a look at the bill.

Total= RM23. We all look at each others like doink. They counted 2 person only. Fun, Peng and Pearling came in late a bit but they had shown their student ID to counter. Just that they busy and said that will come over to our room and take all ID. But they did not do that. So..., we did not care and just pay 23. Haha. Free meals at the first place and now extremely cheap sing k expenses. ^_^
